Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970, is an American journalist on the radio who was formerly a government official. She was the spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is a think-tank that is conservative.



 



 Prior to her posts at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs in the Trump administration from March through October of 2018. Nauert was also named to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
